Mind reading or Mentalism as it’s known by Mind readers/mentalists is when the performer successfully achieves impossible results that can only be explained by the use of psychic techniques. 

The most famous Mind reader / psychic was Uri Geller.  Uri Geller burst onto the scene with the ability to bend spoons and start watches that had been broken for many years.

Around 10 years ago a new style of Mind Reading was born with Derren Brown.  Unlike Uri Geller Derren told his audiences he had no special gifts, he was not psychic and he didn’t have a 6^th sense.  Instead he told his audiences he used his 5 senses to create the illusion of a sixth sense.    

Woody’s Mind reading act is similar to Derren Brown’s style in that he does not claim to have psychic powers.  He uses psychology, magic, NLP and humour to create an unforgettable experience for your guests. 

As we don’t want to spoil the show for you we’ll keep the The show starts with an illusion, a metal manipulation miracle follows, a lie detection experiment follows – similar to Sky 1’s TV program ‘Lie to Me’, a few impossible predictions are made and if the environment is right, the show is finished off with the trick that has injured the most magicians in the world.   

The Stand-up Mind reading show lasts 20 – 45 minutes and is usually performed after the magic act. 

There is lots of crowd participation in the act but no spirits will be contacted.
