Comedy News and upcoming events

Was at the halt bar last night performing 5 minutes of brand new comedy, my Gladiator joke and cricket joke went down quite well but over all there wasn’t anything I’d be overly happy to put into my main act. 

However the night did bring 2 pieces of good news

1)      I’ve been asked to perform at the ‘Best of the Halt’ (March 23^rd)

Free comedy at the Halt has been running for 16 weeks, with 7/8 new comedy acts on a night.  I have performed 3 times but many of the acts have only made1 or 2 appearances.  So around 100 new comedians have appeared on stage and they have asked 8 of us back to perform on their ‘Best of the Halt’.  I’ll look forward to sharing the stage with one comedian in particular.  His name is Richard and he has a very unique style and has a possibility of becoming the next Scottish Comedian Of The Year as he’s just qualified from the Glasgow Heat.

2)      I’ve been asked to perform 10 minutes of Stand-up comedy (Feb 28^th)

Remember that guy Richard I was just talking about?  Well He’s asked me to perform at his comedy night in Ashton Lane in the west end of Glasgow.  So It’ll be my first crack at 10 minutes of stand-up so I’ll need to either add a few minutes of new stuff or add a magic trick.
